With New York Comic Con just one week away, multiple publishers are teasing their programming lineup including First Second and Fierce Reads, who will be at Booth #3335 all weekend. First Second is nominated for five Harvey Awards and will be presenting multiple panels during NYCC, in addition to hosting multiple beloved creators.
Two-time Eisner Award-winning cartoonist Faith Erin Hicks will be in attendance to promote her first solo romance graphic novel, Hockey Girl Loves Drama Boy, which hit shelves October 3. Alongside Hicks, First Second and Fierce Reads are also spotlighting American Born Chinese author Gene Luen Yang; Nightmare-Verse author and one of The Root‘s Most Influential African-Americans of 2020, L.L. McKinney; BookTok sensation Tricia Levenseller; and award-winning cartoonist Sarah Winifred Searle, promoting her forthcoming Regency-era romance book Ruined.
