Catalyst Prime fans can get their hands on its latest event, Catalyst Prime: Seven Days, at New York Comic Con 2019. Lion Forge announced on Monday that Catalyst Prime Universe architect Gail Simone will debut the highly anticipated event at the convention, including daily signings at the publisher booth and her own table in artist alley.

Catalyst Prime: Seven Days unites the CPU heroes for seven issues that count down what may be humanity’s final days. In addition to writing by Simone, the series also features art by José Luís (Teen Titans) and Jonas Trindade.

“This story is everything I love about superhero comics, thrilling conflict, horrible villains, great characters, terrific art by José Luís and Jonas Trindade, and twists and turns that feel like a knife in the guts,” Simone said in a statement. “I am so thrilled to be telling this story, that stands as not just the first huge Lion Forge event book, but also a powerful introduction for newer readers. If you loved Villains United or Swords of Sorrow, this has that feel, that anything could happen, and ALL the players are at risk.”

She added, “It’s beautifully drawn, it’s fun, it’s exciting, I could not be prouder to be part of this event. Come give us a try, no prior knowledge needed! Big things are coming from Lion Forge and it all starts HERE!”

Officially, Catalyst Prime: Seven Days hits shelves Wednesday, but NYCC attendees can grab copies at the show and get them signed throughout the show. Simone will be signing at Lion Forge/Oni Press Booth #2028 at the following times:

  • Thursday, October 3: 3pm – 4pm
  • Friday, October 4: 1pm – 2pm
  • Saturday, October 5: 3pm – 4pm

Fans can also find Simone in artist alley at J-34, where she will also be signing copies of Seven Days throughout the show. Check out Seven Days #1 cover art by Stjepan Sejic below.
