This weekend, comics newcomer and creator Kevin Michael Rowe is launching not one but two indie titles, both starring the Radical Robot named N.A.R.L.I. (Get it?)

Featuring interior and cover art by William MontalvoN.A.R.L.I.’s Tubular Tales introduces the character. The solicit text says, “He skateboards with a dinosaur, travels in time to meet a famous artist, teaches kids about safety, and comes face to face with his arch nemesis THE NERD and the evil organization known as B.O.G.U.S.”

Rowe and Montalvo reunite on The Ineffable N.A.R.L.I., which features cover art by Scott LeMien. The solicit text says, “Join the bodacious bot as he takes his drivers test, protects his mom from the diabolical plans of the Nerd and B.O.G.U.S., and witness the debut of what will be N.A.R.L.I’s greatest foe, G.R.O.D.I.!”

N.A.R.L.I.’s Tubular Tales will debut simultaneously with The Ineffable N.A.R.L.I. at Industry City in Brooklyn, NY, on Saturday, April 13. World’s End Comics in Kingston, NY will host a launch party on Saturday, April 21 from 4-6 p.m.
