In August, Batman: The Telltale Series – The Enemy Within debuted the first of its five parts with a thrilling mystery that expanded much more of the DCU we know into Telltale Games unique vision of the Dark Knight.
It’s been an unbearable wait for the next chapter of this story, but it’s almost over. Episode two titled “The Pact” is on the way next week on October 3rd. To get the audience ready for the introduction of a new version of Harley Quinn, Telltale have released this new episode trailer:
The death of a villain at the hands of a mysterious assassin was just the beginning. As explosions rock Gotham, Batman races to meet a new foe, but encounters a force that may cause even the Dark Knight to fall. In the guise of the billionaire, Bruce meets John Doe’s ‘friends’ and becomes enmeshed in a plot where the only way out is to go deeper in. But at what cost?
Episode two, ‘The Pact,’ launches October 3 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Mac. In addition, both episodes one *and* two will become available on iOS and Android-based devices that same day. Going forward, new episodes will launch the same day on all platforms.
Not only are we getting Telltale’s version of Harley but it looks like by the end of episode two, we’ll also get to see Bane. So far Telltale changed the rules of Batman in interesting ways: turning the Waynes into part of Gotham’s crime family, built a different history between Oswald Cobblepot and Bruce, even gave players a chance to avoid Two-Face’s disfiguring. It’ll be interesting to see how they treat, arguably, DC Comic’s current hottest character, Harley Quinn.
