You heard it folks – the creator of the sensational Berserk series, Kentaro Miura, is bringing his first new work in 20 years to Dark Horse (and the US) in 2016. No word on how long this story will be, but going by Miura’s track record, you may want to reserve a shelf or 3 for this one.
100 million years after the Great Destruction, life hangs on in the wastelands, with humans, demihumans, and massive creatures fighting for survival. With the Empire of Olympus using colossal beasts to crush their adversaries, only gladiator Delos, mystic Prome, and the titan Gohra can hope to stem genocide and heal the shattered Earth!
Yeah, this is going to be absolutely colossal in length and I, for one, look forward to collecting it. I do wonder what the tone will be (undoubtedly it’ll be rated for mature audiences), but I would be happy to be surprised with a series by Miura aimed at a younger audience.
