Two long-time creators seem to be teaming up for a new Vault Comics title next year. According to the publisher’s most recent teaser announcement, writer Michael Moreci and artist Nathan Gooden are cooking up something for 2021.
Moreci’s credits include Star Wars and DC’s The Flash and Detective Comics along with his original Wasted Space published through Vault, an ongoing sci-fi collaboration with Hayden Sherman that mixes philosophy and comedy. Last year, it was announced that the writer had inked a deal with the publisher for a variety of works, including an audio adaptation of the first two arcs of Wasted Space. Moreci has also garnered acclaim for The Plot, one of the best horror books to come out in recent years.
Gooden’s art can be seen on many of Vault’s top titles, whether he’s on interiors or on variant covers. Books include The Plot, Queen of Bad Dreams, Powerless, I Walk With Monsters, and The Picture of Everything Else, which is set to hit stores today.
