On Friday, Marvel revealed covers for its two 2020 FCBD titles. The first, Free Comic Book Day: X-Men #1, will be written by Jonathan Hickman and Tom Taylor with art by Pepe Larraz and Iban Coello. The second, Free Comic Book Day: Spider-Man/Venom #1, will be written by Donny Cates and Jed McKay with art by Ryan Stegman and Patrick Gleason.

According to the press release, each comic will contain two stories connecting to the larger Marvel Universe. The first story in FCBD: X-Men #1 (Hickman and Larraz) “will lead into a game-changing summer for all of X.” The second story (Taylor and Coello) will apparently foreshadow an upcoming story from the team.

Meanwhile, both stories in FCBD: Spider-Man/Venom #1 will tie into major storylines in VenomAmazing Spider-Man, and Black Cat.
