Released back in November for every major gaming platform, Lego Batman 3 : Beyond Gotham continued TT Games series of taking one of the most beloved franchises ever and making them just plain adorable for our enjoyment. The game itself is an enjoyable romp as you step into the Lego shoes of your favorite DC Comics character as they build and destroy in order to stop the nefarious Brainiac from bottling the planet.

One thing the franchise has mastered over the last few games is the attention to fan service. Lego Batman 3 was full of things like playing the old Wonder Woman TV theme every time she flies through the air or even including characters like DC Comics creators Geoff Johns and Jim Lee. Today they add to the expansion of the game by releasing a new downloadable content pack based on the hit TV series Arrow. The pack includes new characters like Diggle, Felicity Smoak, Slade Wilson, and even an adorably stubbled Arrow himself. In addition to the characters and vehicles, there will be a new level based on Queen’s time stranded on a deserted island.

After playing it, I can tell you it’s short but fun. Just hearing Stephen Amell’s voice in a Lego game is worth the price alone. The whole story behind the new level pokes fun at Arrow and overzealous continuity fanboys alike with memorable jokes from the get go. While the DLC bundles for the game have been a hit with the Dark Knight bundle and a miss with the Man of Steel pack, Arrow is definitely one of the better ones.

Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham is available on Playstation, Xbox, and Nintendo platforms. The new Arrow DLC is available today to owners of the game’s season pass option or as a standalone download for an additional price of $2.99 on Playstation Network and Xbox Live.
