History of Doctor Who Monster Competitions

Monster design competitions are a fun part of the Doctor Who fandom, having existed since the 1960s. Many of these competitions tend to be held in Doctor Who Magazine. However, the British children’s series Blue Peter held a competition in the ’00s, and the winning monster was featured in an episode. The winner, Abzorbaloff, appeared in the “Love and Monsters” episode.
