Penguin Random House has announced a full slate of KPop Demon Hunters titles, starting with five kids’ books hitting shelves at the end of this month and in March 2026. The publisher has teamed up with streaming giant Netflix to license poster books, activity books, Mad Libs, novelizations, and more based on the hit animated film, which will see a sequel release in 2029.
The first two books to hit shelves in this new initiative are For the Fans! Little Golden Book (Golden Books) and KPop Demon Hunters: The Official Poster Book (RHB for Young Readers) on December 30, followed by four additional kids titles on March 31, 2026:
- KPop Demon Hunters: The Deluxe Junior Novelization by Jessica Yoon (RHB for Young Readers)
- KPop Demon Hunters: The Movie in Comics – The Official Retelling in Comic Form (RHB for Young Readers)
- KPop Demon Hunters: My Golden Journal Guided Journal (RHB for Young Readers)
- KPop Demon Hunters: Official Activity Book (RHB for Young Readers)
Adult fans can look forward to a “sophisticated” KPDH coloring book and a manhwa adaptation of the film slated for release in 2027 from Random House Worlds, one of three PRH imprints involved in the publishing program and the imprint that handles licensed titles from sci-fi and fantasy properties like Critical Role.
In addition to Random House Worlds, Random House Children’s Books and Penguin Young Readers are part of the initiative, which is overseen by editors and executives from the three imprints.
