Kidrobot, the vinyl figure and plush food manufacturer, is really bringing the cute to San Diego Comic-Con this year. The company recently announced four SDCC exclusives, each one more adorable than the last.
First up is the Aggretsuko Rage 6″ vinyl figure. Just in time for her second season debut on Netflix, Aggretsuko rages her way into San Diego with this toy. Plus, Aggretsuko herself will be at the Kidrobot booth for photo ops with fans. Limited to 500 pieces and costs $40.
Next up is the SDCC exclusive Chrome 8″ Mechagodzilla figure. Everyone’s favorite robot dragon has never looked cuter. The figure is designed after Mechagodzilla’s debut in 1974’s Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla. A chrome finish fully covers the giant robot lizard’s body, save for its yellow eyes. Limited to 500 pieces and costs $100.
Can you believe that Spongebob Squarepants has been around for two decades already? Kidrobot is honoring Spongebob turning 20 with this special rainbow color schemed vinyl figure. He stands 8″ tall and has a translucent rainbow body.
He even sports divots in his rainbow body. Spongebob’s body opens up and there is an actual sponge inside!
Limited to 300 pieces and costs $50.
Finally, something for the gardening enthusiasts among us! Following up on last year’s hit Let Love Grow Terra Cotta Chia Pet Dunny by Jeremyville is the Buzzkill Terra Cotta Chia Pet Dunny by Kronk. Need to scare off squirrels* from your garden? Introduce them to Buzzkill. The best part? Its terracotta head will grow a head of chia hair. Limited to 200 pieces and costs $40 each.
*Squirrels may not actually be afraid of a chia headed toy. Try pepper flakes for a better result. -Ed
