Today WB Games released a new trailer for the sequel to the hit DC Comics fighting game, Injustice. Developer of the Mortal Kombat series, NetherRealm Studios, will once again put players in a virtual toy box that lets us live out the fantasy battles all over again. It’s time to once again smash your Batman and Superman figures with friends in Injustice 2.

The new story trailer shows the additions of Poison Ivy, (pre-order exclusive) Darkseid, and Robin which looks to be the returning Damian Wayne. Lots of vague battling between Supergirl and Wonder Woman happens as the trailer is equally cryptically narrated by the game’s new main antagonist, Brainiac.

On the game’s official website, fans can see a countdown clock which lets fans know when the next character reveal will happen. Listings for the ultimate edition of the game list nine unnamed downloadable characters and also hint at Green Lantern making a return. Part of the ultimate edition’s perks include transforming Flash, GL, and Supergirl into alternate versions of the characters (Reverse Flash, John Stewart, and Power Girl) featuring new voices and dialogue.

Injustice 2 comes out May 16, 2017, on PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Still no official date from DC Comics on the launch of the game’s new tie-in Injustice comic to once again be written by Tom Taylor.
