Hasbro has been releasing versions of their Transformers line from THE TRANSFORMERS: THE MOVIE in their Studio Series for years. Continuing with the More Than Meets The Eye (or MTMTE) branding, they’ve kept many of these figures accurate to how they look in the film and original animated series in stores. After a fantastic line-up for figures released and re-released last year, like Megatron, Grimlock, and the Constructicons, and this year with Soundwave, Thundercracker, and Hot Rod. Today, Hasbro announced the Autobot Hound. Some may remember he was a main featured character in season one, with him and Bumblebee being the two Autobots closest to Spike Witwicky, the human teen who worked with the Autobots. His form is a US military jeep with his gun able to project holograms to trick the Decepticons in battle. Pre-orders are now open exclusively on Target.com and Hasbro Pulse with a Spring 2026 anticipated ship date.

Hound recently debuted in the Energon Universe comics from Skybound befriending G.I. Joe member Clutch. Though Clutch has kept the existence of his Autobot friend a secret from his fellow Joes, the Transformers and G.I. Joe are set to collide this February
