Garden State Comic Fest will be hitting Morristown, NJ on June 29 and 30, bringing with it an array of top guests for fans to meet and greet. The show is yet another example of why attending the smaller venues may be the best way to experience a comic convention.
This year, the show will have two rooms—the Villains Room and the Heroes Room. Guests include Greg Hildebrandt, Billy Tucci, Bob Almond, Chrissie Zullo, Erica Schultz, Howard Mackie, Joe Jusko, Louise Simonson, Walter Simonson, Matt Miner, Scott Hanna, and more.

General Manager Evan Goldstein said, “This year we will again feature tons of comics and comic book art from the Golden Age to the Modern era of comics. We will also feature cosplayers, panels, and celebrities like Smallville’s Jimmy Olsen actor Aaron Ashmore, Stan Lee’s first Marvel Editorial successor Roy Thomas, several members of GWAR, rock stars turned comic creators, and cosplayer Sharon Rose!”
Voice actors Allen Oppenheimer (Skeletor) and Michael Bell (Duke from GI Joe) will be on site signing autographs, doing photo ops, and speaking on panels. Jedi’s of the Saber Guild Corellia will be on hand for Light Saber Classes, and cosplayers can take part in numerous events such as the Cosplay On Ice skating session and the Garden State Cosplay Showdown.
One of the most kid-friendly shows around, children 11 and younger get in free with a paying adult and have exciting options from which to choose like free drawing lessons and cosplay prizes like tickets for Build-A-Bear.
Veterans and active military can also enjoy free admission with their valid Military ID or a copy of their DD-214 form.
