Not only is Vagrant Queen hitting SYFY, she’s also returning in a brand new comic book series in 2020. The Beat can exclusively announce that the creative team behind the Vault Comics series will return for Vagrant Queen: A Planet Called Doom, a mini-series launching in January.

Written by Magdalene Visaggio, illustrated by Jason Smith, colored by Harry Saxon, lettered by Zakk Saam, and designed by Tim DanielVagrant Queen: A Planet Called Doom picks up where the first series concluded. However, new readers who want to immerse themselves in Elida’s world can certainly jump on for the first time with this book.

Vagrant Queen follows former child queen Elida, who was driven from her throne at just 10 years old. She was forced to wander the galaxy and evade the revolutionary forces hellbent on seeing her dead; but then, an old frenemy claims to know the whereabouts of Elida’s long-lost mother, and Elida returns to her former kingdom to stage a rescue.
