Tomorrow, DC Comics will release  Bombshells: United #11, the latest installment of their digital first series that re-imagines the heroines of the DC Universe as allied freedom fighters during World War II. While we’ve spent time with a great many classic characters like Batwoman, Harley Quinn, Miriam Marvel, and Wonder Woman throughout the original Bombshells series and its current successor, there’s been one major omission from this star studded cast. And it’s about to be corrected with a shout and a canary cry!

  1. Actually, the glaring omission is the one, and only RED TORNADO. A mother looking after her entire family, running a grocery store, and fighting crime in her neighbor hood? Seems like a natch’rel to me. With a slightly more serious take, and a little costume tweaking, I think she could be a contender.

  2. Oh god! Please no serious takes on the Red Tornado. They’ve de-whimsified everyone else. Please leave Ma Hunkel alone.
