Last we saw Elvira she was on an epic journey through the underworld on a mission to confront Satan himself. It was touch and go there for a while and we weren’t sure if she was ever going to escape. The curvy horror queen, however, manages to escape Hell only to fall in with a coven of modern day witches upon her return in Elvira: Mistress of the Dark #9. Now she is ready to take a hot rod broom out for a spin in the sky, all while delivering her best puns.

Writer David Avallone (Bettie Page) and artist Dave Acosta (Twelve Devils Dancing), the team who brought you Doc Savage: Ring of Fire and Twilight Zone: The Shadow, continue on the series with Taylor Esposito of Ghost Glyph Studios (Batman, Aquaman, Bettie Page) on lettersCover artists for this issue include Kevin Eastman, Craig Cermak, and John Royle. There are also virgin versions of Cermak and Eastman’s entries and a black and white option of Royle’s art. Just like previous installments, a photo cover featuring actress/writer Cassandra Peterson as her iconic Elvira persona is also available.
