On December 6th, DC Comics will release the DC Universe Holiday Special 2017, a collection of stories featuring DC’s greatest heroes spreading holiday cheer around the world. Last year, Kyle and I fell in love with the zany and heartwarming antics contained within the special, so we’re very high on the possibility of more celebratory cheer.
After the jump, check out this first look at a Holiday Special short story that DC has given exclusively given to the Comics Beat to reveal. In this story, written by The Flash writer Joshua Williamson and drawn by Neil Googe, The Flash defeats the Rainbow Raider at Central City Airport in the midst of a blizzard, only to discover that the blizzard has grounded all the outgoing flights. With dozens of passengers stuck in the terminal, it’s up to the fastest man alive to get everyone back to their loved ones in time for the holiday festivities.
