Update the scorecard! Dynamite Entertainment has signed a a non-exclusive distribution agreement with Universal Distribution for the specialty and hobby market in the United States and Canada.
Dynamite had an existing agreement with Universal in Canada -and will continue to be distributed by Lunar as well.
The move strengthens Universal’s growing presence in the North American market, says the annoucement, as they pursue a strategy of to become a leading distributor for comics, games, and hobby products across North America.
With Dynamite Entertainment joining Universal’s newly established U.S. comic distribution network, this collaboration will diversify Universal’s title offerings and provide retailers with access to one of the most dynamic publishers in the industry. Known for compelling stories, exciting crossovers, and collaborations with top-tier writers and artists, Dynamite brings incredible value to Universal and its retail customers. Retailers can begin placing orders soon for Dynamite titles scheduled to release in January 2026.

Dynamite joins DC at Universal – the DC deal was announced in September. Universal acquired Diamond’s Alliance Games business in the bankruptcy proceedings, and has been using Alliance warehouses and facilities to expand into the US after a long run as a Canadian comics distributor.
