  1. I’m glad to see that the collections are finishing up the Bilson/Demeo run on the Flash. As badly as it was received, and with Guggenheim treating his first issue as a new jumping-on point, I half expected DC to skip #7-8 and jump straight into Guggenheim’s run for the next TPB.

The story from the Infinite Christmas special is a surprise, though.

  2. “HELLBLAZER: BLOODLINES TP

It’s amazing how for the past decade DC still hasn’t been able to handle Garth Ennis’ Hellblazer material correctly. First they let the material remain unreprinted for years. Then, when they finally figure out there’s 13 issues of prime unreprinted Ennis Hellblazer comics just gathering dust, they do a shoddy job on the reprint. 51 is a John Smith fill-in, but why not include 56-58? Granted, 56 (an excellent one-off) is available in the Rare Cuts book, but what about 57-58?

Is it about trying to keep the price down? I’m pretty sure any fan of Ennis’ Hellblazer would be willing to pay $25 instead of $20 for a complete book to round out the collection. Is anyone at DC even thinking about trying to put out quality packages?

  3. Sure we could complain… but finally DC Comics has reprinted the Saga of the Supersons. This is a day for celebration, no?
