This afternoon, DC Comics unveiled a quartet of covers for Dark Knights: Metal #2, the second installment of this year’s main event comic. The main series cover is drawn by Greg Capullo with inks by Jonathan Glapion and color by FCO Plascencia. The variants, below, are produced by Andy Kubert, Jim Lee, and John Romita Jr.. They mainly focus on the Justice League, but also feature some nods to fan favorite characters like the Court of Owls and Swamp Thing.

Observant readers will note that the four artists of these Dark Nights: Metal covers are the tentpole curators for DC’s upcoming artist-led Dark Matter imprint which will spin out from Metal later this year.

In DARK NIGHTS METAL #2, as Superman and Wonder Woman hunt for a missing ally, Batman investigates a mystery spanning centuries.
