DC Kids Camp is a new program set next week, bringing a slate of at-home activities for little ones to families that are self isolating amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Announced Wednesday, DC Kids Camp has an overall goal of helping parents keep their kids entertained and engaged while stuck at home. To do this, the publisher has recruited the help of a long list of authors and artists who have been working on their YA and middle grade books as of late. The list of participating creators includes Meg Cabot, Agnes Garbowska, Shannon Hale, Dean Hale, Minh Lê, Michael Northrop, Ridley Pearson, Kirk Scroggs, Gene Luen Yang, and more.

The content for the program will be available through DC Kids’ social media channels on Twitter and  Instagram, and it will include downloads of kid-friendly activities that involve DC superheroes, as well as previews of past and upcoming DC middle grade graphic novels. On the aforementioned social media channels, there will also be videos from the authors and artists that parents and children can watch together at home.

Examples of DC Kids Camp content to come include draw-alongs with Agnes Garbowska, origami tutorials with Gene Luen Yang, make-your-own Green Lantern ring sessions with Minh Lê, and more. There will also be downloadable activity sheets, coloring pages, and blank comic pages.
