Marvel and Blaze Pizza are teaming up to release an exclusive prequel comic for Daredevil: Born Again season two. No details were provided on the creative team or premise, although the press release teases it will bring Matt Murdock “into an unexpected real-world setting,” but the book will be released online and at five select Blaze restaurants the day the season premieres on Tuesday, March 24.
Physical copies will be available at:

(Sadly, there is no Blaze Pizza in Hell’s Kitchen, although one is located in Spider-Man’s home county Queens.)
Blaze Pizza are currently offering up a limited time Sweet Heat pizza to promote the new season: the mozzarella dish’s ingredients include an appropriately red spicy sauce, double pepperoni, roasted red peppers, and Mike’s Hot Honey. The collaboration will continue with weekly drops every Tuesday (when a new episode releases) via the Blaze Pizza app, with further offers available to loyalty program members.
In further Born Again news this week, Marvel launched a weekly, official video podcast for the show, marking the first for any of their TV releases. The first episode, hosted by Bullseye actor Wilson Bethal, featuring a revisit of the first season with showrunner Dario Scardapane and Marvel TV boss Brad Winderbaum, and a Q&A with executive producer Sana Amanat, is available now on YouTube, Disney+, and all audio-only platforms.
Daredevil: Born Again will return to Disney+ on Tuesday, at 9pm ET.
