Thanks to a distribution deal with VIZ Media, new anime titles are now available for streaming on the Crunchyroll platform in the United States and Canada, with even more titles being made available later this week.

Among the eighteen titles that were made available for streaming today include Death Note, Vampire Knight, season one of One Punch Man, and a selection of Naruto movies. Later this week on Friday, December 19th, six additional titles, including Hikaru No Go and Inuyasha, will be available for streaming as well.

Crunchyroll had previously announced a deal with VIZ Media Europe Group to make more titles available through its platform, which boasts more than 50 million users and over 2 million subscribers. The Crunchyroll app is available on game consoles, cell phone telephones, and other streaming devices and allows users to stream anime from leading studios. Both a free-to-use and paid subscription service are available.

  • Crunchyroll, the world’s most popular anime brand, and VIZ Media, a premier manga publishing and anime distribution company, are announcing today an expansive distribution deal that will bring beloved VIZ Media titles to the Crunchyroll community across the U.S. and Canada.

  • Eighteen beloved Viz Media library titles will be available on Crunchyroll starting December 16, including: 

    • Accel World

    • Accel World Infinite Burst

    • Death Note

    • K – Season 1

    • K: Missing Kings

    • K: Seven Stories (Subtitle Only)

    • Naruto Shippuden: The Movie – Blood Prison

    • Naruto Shippuden: The Movie – The Lost Tower

    • Naruto Shippuden: The Movie – Will of Fire

    • Naruto the Movie: Guardians of the Crescent Moon

    • Naruto the Movie: Legend of the Stone of Gelel

    • Naruto the Movie: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow

    • One Punch Man Season 1 (Subtitle Only)

    • Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie

    • Sailor Moon R: The Movie

    • The Last: Naruto the Movie

    • Vampire Knight

    • Vampire Knight: Guilty

  • Additionally, the following titles will be available starting December 19  

    • Hikaru no Go

    • Inuyasha

    • Inuyasha the Movie: Affections Touching Across Time

    • Inuyasha the Movie: Fire on Mystic Island

    • Inuyasha the Movie: Swords of an Honorable Ruler

    • Inuyasha the Movie: The Castle Beyond the Looking Glass

  • Most titles will be available to the Crunchyroll community in the United States and Canada with the exception of “One Punch Man.” Season 1 of the series will be available in the United States, Canada, and Latin America. 

  • Most titles will appear in dubbed and subtitled versions, with the exception of “K: Seven Stories,” and “One Punch Man” seasons 1.
