Doctor Doom isn’t going anywhere. Fresh off One World Under Doom no more than six months ago, The Great Destroyer is getting another mini-series. The House of Ideas unveiled Challenges of Doom, a series of one-shots that will see the eponymous villain fight some of his most iconic nemeses.

As of now, the five one-shots will see Doom fight Mr. Fantastic, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Magneto, and Namor. With a release schedule of every-other-month, the series will run through next March, ensuring three of the issues will be released before Robert Downey Jr.’s version of the character joins the MCU via Avengers: Doomsday.

“CHALLENGES OF DOOM will pit the Lord of Latveria against some of the prime movers of the Marvel Universe as a way of illuminating different facets of Doom’s power, personality, intellect and skill,” Marvel Executive Editor Tom Brevoort says of the series. “Through them, you’ll get a full picture of just why Doom is the greatest of all Marvel’s villains.”
