Del Rey Manga is pleased to report that after only 4 days on sale, AVRIL LAVIGNE’S MAKE 5 WISHES (Volume 1; $12.95; 978-0-345-50058-8) has gone back to press for a second printing. Hailed as “a disturbingly well constructed comic” and “a testament to what can be done with one of these projects” (Ain’t It Cool News), the manga will continue to grow in popularity when Avril Lavigne’s highly-anticipated new album The Best Damn Thing releases on April 17 from RCA Records. The book is promoted in the album package and Lavigne will be doing a media blitz around the release, including appearances on Saturday Night Live, Good Morning America, and Late Show with David Letterman. Volume 2 of AVRIL LAVIGNE’S MAKE 5 WISHES ($12.95; 978-0-345-50079-3) goes on sale July 3.

    girl like me to read comicks but having my favorit singer make one? That has made it, i don’t know made me fill better about liking things like that. So Thank’s Avril!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)

Avril HAS MADE ME SOOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY, not long ago I thought it was weird for girls like me to read comicks but becasue me favorit singer has made one, I fill better about liking things like that so let me say Avril thank you soooo much and I love your snogs. your my rolemoldle! you rock!!!

  6. What a talent! Avril is a true artist who has somehow found the right balance between commercialism and artistry. I only hope she is as happy as she appears to the public and as happy as she should be. I mean, getting to do what she does across media and being so successful, no doubt because she remains true to herself……in the music she writes and now, the comic she produces. Kudos to Avril. May she continue to bless herself and by so doing, bless so many others!

  7. That would be sweet to go see Avril Lavigne in concert in Beijing China. Her tour date says it’s October 6th. After watching the olympics, I really want to visit Beijing now.
