To celebrate the one-year anniversary of Avengers: Endgame, Joe & Anthony Russo announced on Instagram that they’ll be hosting an Endgame watch party, where the directors will host a special guest, live stream for the first hour, and tweet along with the whole virtual audience the entire time with the hashtag, #AvengersAssemble.

Avengers: Endgame recently re-entered the zeitgeist when Twitter user Scott Gustin posted some bootlegged live reactions from the movie’s premiere, resulting in the entire internet mourning the shared experience of watching a movie in a dark room with hundreds of strangers.

If you’re still missing that feeling, a night on Twitter with a bunch of MCU fans might be just what you need. The Russo brothers are well aware of that, not only evidenced by this event, but also looking to the future. In a recent interview with CinemaBlend, the directors mentioned the possibility of rereleasing Endgame as well as Infinity War once theaters are safe to attend again, saying:

“The strength of the theatrical experience is that it combines audiences, and it combines you globally. To have been a part of movies that did that, on that scale with that level of emotional connection from the audience, was really very touching, and will be the highlight of our careers. So, using those films to get people back into the theaters? We would be ecstatic. I mean, any opportunity for people to go back and share in those stories together is one that we would support.”

To participate in the Avengers: Endgame watch party, all you have to do is press play on your copy (or on Disney+) at 4pmPT/7pmET tonight, and see details in the Instagram post below.
