The Unlucky Ones and the Edge of Nowhere follows Lúcio and Sonia, two East Bay college students who discover that they seem to have spontaneously developed destructive, apparently supernatural powers. Fortunately, they meet one another during an encounter at a remote diner in Soda Springs, California.
Soon, they have elected to embark on a cross-country road trip, traveling through the western United States together and nourishing a burgeoning friendship in spite of the uncertain situation in which they have found themselves. As the duo head out on the road with one another, they’ll have to learn how to work together in a world that just might have turned against them!
The story is divided into the individual days the duo has been on the run together, and with seventy chapters already posted and regular ongoing updates, now is the ideal time to hit the road with Sonia and Lúcio!
