I am as far-left as anyone. But books like this are going to accelerate the total banning of Manga in this country. I live in a community that votes “D” 99.9% of the time. But the local comic store had to gut the entire “Manga” section, as the local Police gave him a warning. They were having so many complaints about the content of “Manga” in his store, please work with us. Since he has at least 20 cops from that local department on his sub-list. He figured it is not worth the “fight”. This is one topic if brought to light in November, Dem’s better be ready to say they agree with R’s on this subject. Very similar to how you are going to find very few “D’s” stating that “Trans-Girls” should be allowed to compete in HS/College Girls Sports. Not one “D” will be supporting either of the above if they want to win.
I just get the impression Manga Publishers in the US are very out of touch with 90% of the country.
