Marvel Comics has revealed this year’s Marvel’s Voices special for Pride Month is titled Wiccan & Hulkling: Raid of Ultron. Featuring stories from LGBTQ+ creators like Wyatt Kennedy, Josh Trujillo, Luciano Vecchio, Zoe Tunnell, and Rachael Stott, the book will see Wiccan, Hulkling, and their extended family face off against their very own black sheep, Ultron.

WICCAN & HULKLING REUNITE WITH FAMILY… AND DANGER! Wiccan & Hulkling gather their known & beloved friends and family to celebrate their wedding anniversary – but everything goes awry when Ultron arrives to reclaim Vision and Viv!

Kennedy, who previously wrote Wiccan: Witches’ Road, will write the main story. Tunnell’s, meanwhile, will explore the relationship between Hulkling and his half-sister Phyla-Vell, as they “bond over their shared legacy, exchange advice, and combine their mighty Marvelous strength to take down Ultron’s forces!” Furthermore, Trujillo’s will focus on Viv and her father Vision, as she “deconstructs her own identity and how it interacts with being a synthezoid.”

The book will coincide with the 40th anniversary of Wiccan and Speed’s first appearance as the infants Billy and Tommy Maximoff, in 1986’s The Vision and the Scarlet Witch #12. While it wasn’t stated in the press release, the book will also coincide with the upcoming Disney+ series VisionQuest, which will premiere later this year. The show, which will see the return of Paul Bettany and James Spader as the MCU’s Vision and Ultron, will also introduce Ruaridh Mollica as Thomas Shepherd, suggesting it could also bring about a reunion with Joe Locke‘s Billy Kaplan after his debut in Agatha All Along.

Raid of Ultron will be released on May 27, with a number of Pride Month variant covers that will be revealed at a later date. In the meantime, Wiccans’ Road will conclude with issue #5 on April 29.
