Make it so! The famous line repeatedly uttered by Jean-Luc Picard (Sir Patrick Stewart) whenever he tells someone to enact a plan of action also seems to be the motto of The Nacelle Company CEO Brian Volk-Weiss whenever a Trekkie comes up with an imaginative, never-before-been-done action figure idea for Nacelle’s Star Trek toy line. Trekkies wanted a Weyoun figure, complete with accessories like half a pizza and chopsticks, as seen in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, season 7, episode 6, “Treachery, Faith and the Great River.” Volk-Weiss made it so! Trekkies yearned for an action figure of the infamous Beverly Crusher (Gates McFadden) “ghost sex” episode, Star Trek: The Next Generation, season 7, episode 14, “Sub Rosa.” Once again, Volk-Weiss made it so!
Earlier today at New York’s Toy Fair 2026, the Nacelle CEO once again made it so with another exciting announcement: the reveal of the company’s 2026 “What’s in the Box” mystery two-pack.
Completing the set of 11 action figures in wave three of the company’s Star Trek action figure line will be Gene Roddenberry, the creative mind behind the concept of a “wagon train to the stars,” and Lucille Ball, the comedy icon and visionary who saw enough value in Gene’s vision to invest in bringing it to life. Included in the two-pack are also some accessories sure to excite fans, including a typewriter, a Star Trek script, and a blank Desliu Inc. check.
You can watch Nacelle’s full unboxing video for Ball and Roddenberry below:
The wave three two-pack was first teased at New York Comic Con 2025, which took place last October. Since the mystery two-pack was first teased, fans have been guessing who the two mystery characters might be. But only one fan was able to correctly guess the mystery, a fan who will remain a mystery, according to Volk-Weiss, in the reel. Here, at Stately Beat Manor, we certainly didn’t guess right. However, we’re keeping our Live Long and Prosper’s crossed for a few of our ideas to make it into wave five (Trekkies, remember, wave four was previously announced).
In addition to Roddenberry and Ball, the Nacelle’s Star Trek action figure wave three lineup includes Star Trek: The Original Series crewmembers James T. Kirk, Spock, Leonard McCoy, Nyota Uhura, Pavel Chekov, Hikaru Sulu, Montgomery “Scotty” Scott, Christine Chapel, and Janice Reno.
