Blade Runner, the 1982 cult classic science fiction film directed by Ridley Scott, has become an iconic and beloved part of pop culture in the four decades since its release, spawning sequels, novels, and comics. Titan Comics is pleased to announce a line of omnibus editions, collecting the entirety of their Blade Runner comics to date.

All three omnibuses are set in the world of Blade Runner, as the first officially sanctioned omnibus editions of the Blade Runner comic book series and based directly on the 1982 film, as well as its 2017 sequel Blade Runner 2049, directed by Denis Villeneuve.

The first omnibus collects 12 issues from Blade Runner 2019, the entirety of the story arcs ‘Los Angeles’, ‘Off-World’ and ‘Home Again.‘ Written by Michael Green and Mike Johnson, with artwork by Andres Guinaldo, it features a cover by Ben Oliver and a direct market variant cover by Christian Ward.

Set in Los Angeles, 2019, the first omnibus focuses on LAPD Blade Runner and detective, Aahna ‘Ash’ Ashina, who has been assigned to investigate the mysterious disappearance of Isobel and Cleo Selwyn, the wife and daughter of business tycoon, Alexander Selwyn, a close personal friend of Eldon Tyrell.  Ash’s search will take her on a journey from the crime-ridden underbelly of a rain-soaked, environmentally damaged Los Angeles to the promised land of the Off-World Colonies and back home again as she uncovers a terrible secret and a desperate conspiracy that forces her to confront her own hatred for Replicants–the synthetic humans that she hunts for a living.

The second omnibus collects 12 issues from Blade Runner 2029, the entirety of the story arcs ‘Reunion‘, ‘Echo‘ and ‘Redemption‘. Written by Green and Johnson once again, with Guinaldo returning on art duties, it continues Ash’s story ten years after the events of the previous series.

Ash returns to Los Angeles hunt down renegade Replicants. However, this time Ash now has a new agenda that, if discovered, will make her the enemy of humanity. Ash is drawn into a deadly cat-and-mouse game with a Replicant called Yotun, one unlike any she has ever faced before – a NEXUS 6 Replicant who has outlived his four-year lifespan. The head of a guerrilla army of fanatical Replicants, Yotun leads a revolt to take control of the Los Angeles and only Ash can stop him, as she finds herself in a deadly fight for survival.

The third and final omnibus collects 12 issues from Blade Runner 2039, the entirety of the story arcs ‘Luv‘, ‘Upgrade‘ and ‘Ash‘. Written by Green and Johnson, with art by Guinaldo, it concludes Ash’s story, roughly ten years before the events of Villeneuve’s sequel.

20 years have passed since Ash helped a young girl and her Replicant mother escape from the clutches of her sadistic father – the business tycoon, Alexander Selwyn, to an Off-world colony. Now the heir apparent to the old Tyrell empire, Niander Wallace has ordered the capture of Cleo believing that her DNA holds the secret to Replicant fertility. Former Blade Runner Ash must once again return to Los Angeles and fight to save the city she loves from the machinations of Niander Wallace and his personal Replicant assistant, Luv, the first Replicant Blade Runner, and fulfill a pact she made years ago to protect those she loves most. The future itself of all Replicants is at stake.
