LEGO now has a Sherlock Holmes: Book Nook available.
Read on for incredible details about this set!
What’s inside LEGO’s Sherlock Holmes: Book Nook?
It’s a Baker Street scene featuring the great detective, his friend Dr. John Watson (who has terrible taste in jacket colors), his archenemy Professor Moriarty (who looks like an evil magician), the Woman Irene Adler (a person of color), and a Baker Street newsie named Paige (how appropriate).
The buildings include a bookshop, the bad guy’s hideout, and 221B, with a clue board, fireplace, and Holmes’ violin.
The book nook concept allows the street to be folded in half to create a book shape.
Previous book nooks from Lego have included the Hogwarts Express and the Balrog from The Lord of the Rings.
The Sherlock Holmes: Book Nook LEGO set is exclusive to Barnes & Noble and the LEGO.com site.
There are other Sherlock Holmes-themed building sets
This isn’t the only Sherlock Holmes-themed building set, however. Last year, a company called Pantasy put out three available to order through Diamond. They released the 221B flat, large-headed figures of Holmes and Watson, and most recently, the entire 221 Baker Street building complete with hansom cab.
I’m still holding out for a Diogenes Club set with plenty of books and armchairs and a Mycroft Holmes minific.
