Manga Mavericks has announced distribution deals for North American and European retailers. The U.S.-based, independent manga publisher has signed with Pathway Book Service for North American distribution and Gazelle Book Services Ltd. for European distribution.
“These distribution partnerships represent a key step in the growth of Manga Mavericks Books and will bring our catalog to a wide range of new readers,” said CEO Varun Gupta. “2026 will be another big year for us with the debut of scores of new manga titles and licensing deals. This includes indie, classic, shojo, and LGBTQ+ works from both rising and long-established Japanese creators, many of whom have never had their work released in the English market.”
For the North American market, Pathway will manage fulfillment, warehousing, and retail distro for Manga Mavericks. The company services North American retailers including Barnes & Noble, Books A Million, Amazon, and Walmart. Wholesalers can purchase Manga Mavericks titles from Pathway via the Ingram Book Distributors iPage Platform.
Select Manga Mavericks titles will be available for the European market through Gazelle Book Services Ltd., which services retailers including Waterstones, Gardners, and Amazon.
Since its launch in summer 2025, Manga Mavericks has become a rising star in the English-language manga scene, with multiple digital and print books available through its online store. These distribution deals will put print copies of its books into more stores across the U.S. and Europe, allowing more readers to access Manga Mavericks titles and increasing visibility and support for the publisher’s creative teams.
