Ten Speed Graphic has announced graphic novel adaptations of Travis Baldree’s cozy fantasy series Legends & Lattes, with the first book hitting shelves this fall.
Adapted by Samuel Sattin and illustrated by Shanti Rittgers and Sarah Webb, Legends & Lattes: The Graphic Novel will bring the “high fantasy, low stakes” cozy romance of Baldree’s novel, which is widely credited with launching the “cozy fantasy” subgenre after it became a BookTok sensation in 2022.

After a lifetime of bounties and bloodshed, Viv is hanging up her sword. The battle-weary orc aims to start afresh, opening the city of Thune’s first-ever coffee shop. At time of writing, there are three books in Baldree’s series: the prequel Bookshops & Bonedust, Legends & Lattes, and Brigands & Breadknives. Tor is releasing a deluxe box set in November.
Legends & Lattes: The Graphic Novel will be available everywhere books are sold on October 6. Pre-orders are currently available for the ebook, the standard hardcover edition (ISBN 978-1-9848-6-2310), and the signed deluxe hardcover edition (ISBN 979-8-2172-7-5144) via Penguin Random House.
