During the live-streamed Jujutsu Kaisen 5th Anniversary Special, fans were treated to the very first teaser trailer for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3—officially confirmed to premiere in January 2026. The upcoming season, titled The Culling Game Arc, will stream exclusively on Crunchyroll worldwide (excluding Asia), with new episodes releasing weekly, on the same day as Japan.

The teaser gives a glimpse into Yuji Itadori’s inner turmoil following the catastrophic Shibuya Incident, along with a tense showdown between Yuji and Jujutsu Kaisen 0 protagonist Yuta Okkotsu. Also featured are Naoya Zen’in’s heated clash with Choso, as well as appearances from fan favorites Megumi Fushiguro, Maki Zen’in, and Yuki Tsukumo—building hype for the next chapter of the dark fantasy saga.

Returning cast includes Junya Enoki (Yuji Itadori), Yuma Uchida (Megumi Fushiguro), Daisuke Namikawa (Choso), and Megumi Ogata (Yuta Okkotsu). The new season is once again being produced by MAPPA, with Shota Goshozono directing and Hiroshi Seko handling series composition and scripts.

Based on Gege Akutami’s best-selling manga, Jujutsu Kaisen has become one of the biggest anime phenomena of the decade. The series has won multiple Crunchyroll Anime Awards, while its prequel film, Jujutsu Kaisen 0, earned around $180 million worldwide and was named Best Anime Film in 2023.

With The Culling Game Arc on the horizon, fans can expect even more intense battles, emotional stakes, and new character dynamics when the series returns in 2026.
