Warner Bros. Japan has officially announced that the highly anticipated anime adaptation of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run will stream on Netflix worldwide. The reveal comes ahead of a special event in Tokyo on September 23, which will also be live-streamed globally and feature brand-new information about the series.
Director Yasuhiro Kimura shared his excitement for the project, noting:
“STEEL BALL RUN is a story that depicts characters racing through a grand competition, each staking their own beliefs along the way. I am thrilled to take on the role of director for its anime adaptation. Our creators pour their passion into its production every day. We eagerly look forward to the moment we can share that same energy with all of you through the anime series, and we hope you will join us as we run together on this journey.”
