The Daughter of Drakulon is getting a new one-shot special from Dynamite Entertainment. Vampirella Halloween Horror #1 features the creative team of writer Liam Johnson, a modern Judge Dredd / 2000 AD mainstay, and artist Jordan Michael Johnson. Cosplayer Joanie Brosas contributes a cover, and cover art is provided by Greg Land, Celina, and Aldrin “Buzz” Aw, who drew Vampirella’s adventures in the mid-1990s and returns with a homage to Frank Frazetta’s first Vampirella cover. The 28-page story will arrive on local comic book shelves this September 2025.
Check out the preview and covers below:
Something sinister is stalking the streets of New York City and encroaching on the Daughter of Drakulon’s turf. Vampirella learns of a paranormal serial killer targeting the vulnerable young in her adopted city. With a target in sight, she starts her own hunt to determine the killer’s true identity and put an end to their spree. Along the way, Vampi will wrestle with a question that has shadowed her entire life: when does a gift become a curse? Does she share more in common with this faceless, violent threat than she thinks, or will her heroic nature prevail?

Vampirella Halloween Horror #1 is solicited in Diamond Comic Distributors’ July 2025 Previews catalog and set for release in September 2025.
