By all accounts DC’s Absolute line has been one of the most successful initiatives from one of the Big 2 publishers in recent years. DC clearly has no intention of letting their foot off the gas any time soon, as at today’s ComicsPRO the publisher presented to retailers details about a pair of previously-announced new Absolute titles, Absolute Green Arrow and Absolute Catwoman, while also teasing the first event for the line.

Conroy announces Absolute Green Arrow by @pornsak.bsky.social and Greg Albuquerque . The Long Bow Hunter is searching for Green Arrow’s killer – and Dinah is trying to find him. A slasher horror series.

In June: Absolute Catwoman by Che Grayson, Scott SNyder and Bengal.

Originally announced way back at last year’s San Diego Comic Con, Absolute Green Arrow, a six-issue series from writer Pornsak Pichetshote and artist Rafael Albuquerque, will see its first issue released on Wednesday, May 20th. Here’s how DC describes the series:

Without the trick arrows… without the money… without mercy, what’s left is the Absolute Hunter!

A serial killer is slaughtering corrupt billionaires, and the only clue to his identity is the green arrows protruding from the victims’ bodies. Executive protection specialist Dinah Lance, also known as Absolute Black Canary, is assigned to uncover the murderer’s identity as she investigates a list of suspects drawn from the ranks of DC’s most dangerous archers. Each one is uniquely connected to a recently murdered Oliver Queen. A deadly mystery unfolds in this urban horror reimagining of the Emerald Archer’s mythos, brought to life by Eisner Award–winners Pornsak Pichetshote and Rafael Albuquerque.

DC shared a four-page preview of the first issue, and unveiled variant covers for the issue from artists including Gerald ParelGuillem MarchTula Lotay, and Reiko Murakami.

The Absolute version of Oliver Queen made his debut in December’s Absolute Evil one-shot, a comic in which he also apparently died. The new series will mark the debut of the Absolute version of Dinah Lance.

Absolute Catwoman is a six-issue series originally announced at last year’s New York Comic Con. The series is co-written by Che Grayson and Scott Snyder, with art by Bengal. Here’s how DC describes the series:

With all the wealth…with all the gear…with all the skills, she is the Absolute Apex Predator!

Selina Kyle has carved a good life for herself. Through her ingenuity and skills, she has become the greatest thief the world has ever known. With high-tech gear and weaponry, there is no place too secure for Catwoman. But when someone from her past comes knocking at her door, everything she has built begins to collapse. To survive, Selina must unravel a mystery that takes her across the globe and deep into the shadows of the Absolute Universe.

DC revealed a quartet of uncolored preview pages for the first issue, which is due in stores on Wednesday, June 10th, and showed off variant covers by Kaare AndrewsMateus Manhanini, and David Nakayama.

At New York Comic Con, Snyder described Absolute Catwoman as being like the “Batman” of the Absolute Universe, decked out with high-tech gadgets and gear. The character has appeared a few times already in Absolute Batman, and Grayson described this series’s take on the character as akin to Lisbeth Salander from The Girl in the Dragon Tattoo

There will be one other thing for the Absolute Universe in Q4 – an event mini series that will be self explanatory “You will not have to explain to customers what a crossover is.” #comicspro

Along with the info on the two forthcoming series, DC also teased an event miniseries for the Absolute Universe will be coming towards the end of this year. The line had its first crossover last month, with the Absolute versions of Batman and Wonder Woman crossing paths in issues of their respective series, and the aforementioned Absolute Evil one-shot established the Justice League, who in the Absolute Universe are an organization made up of the villains from each of the line’s titles. It seems likely that an event series would pick up on that thread, but time will tell.
