Created, written, and illustrated by Katelyn Windels, this supernatural western follows a faceless, red-eyed figure trailing a cattle drive across the American Southwest. Only one cowboy seems to notice him, and the slow realization of who or what is stalking them drives the tension into something biblical and terrifying. In short, this is the kind of story I could not put down. Its use of colors is exquisite, its art amazing, and its characters deep and intriguing. So much so that Windel has played a lot of cards close to the chest and, in doing so, has made this story even better. Make sure to check it out!
