Over the course of five issues, we’ve witnessed Midnighter and his boyfriend, Apollo, have their resolve put to the test as old foes, demons, and hell itself spring forth to greet them in combat. The battles have cost Apollo his life, but Midnighter isn’t ready to let go of his better half just yet.
