If you go to the NBA Store in Manhattan, you can don a jersey and get a basketball card of yourself printed up. Comixology is borrowing the NBA’s playbook and printing up trading cards of fans and creators to celebrate their 10th Anniversary. There’s a schedule (towards the bottom of the page) of when a long list of creators will be at the booth. Comixology will take your picture with said creator and give you both a print and a digital trading card. It’s a spin-off of their creator trading cards and one of the more fun promotions announced so far.
Official PR follows, including Comixology Friday night anniversary part and panel schedule.
