David Sasha, Director of Jewish Heritage, interviews Joann Sfar at The Center for Jewish History (15 West 16th Street). Admission is $10.00.

Brooklyn, NY from 6:30 to 8:00 PM Vagabonds #2 Release Party
Join Josh Neufeld for the release of his book The Vagabonds #2, a collection of his comix collaborations. The event will be taking place at the Sheep Station (149 4th Avenue, Brooklyn).

Nottingham NG1 6HY) will be hosting an informal Q&A session with Scott McCloud.

New York, NY from 10 AM – 6PM Illustration Today at the New School
Giant Robot presents a day-long symposium on the state of art at the New School (Tishman Auditorium, 66 West 12th Street, New York). There will be over two dozen speakers, including the Paper Rad art collective, British illustrator James Jarvis, and Miami-based designer duo Friends With You. Tickets are free to all Parson/New School students and alumni or $10 for the general public.

Sunday, November 12th

Brooklyn, NY from 4 – 6 PM Joint Signing with Raina Telgemeier and Abby Denson at Rocketship
Raina Telgemeier will be signing copies of her new Babysitter’s Club title, The Trouble with Stacey. Abby Denson will be signing copies of Tough Love, Powerpuff Girls, and the Simpsons. Bring the kids and enjoy the free cookies and ice cream!
