Ryan Wilder Batwoman gets her own Funko Pop! figure

The new Batwoman makes the jump from TV to comics and now toys

It’s been more than a year since the character Ryan Wilder, played by actress Javicia Leslie, took over the Batwoman mantle in the eponymous CW series following the behind-the-scenes problems and controversy following the abrupt departure of Ruby Rose. The series aired its third season finale just last week, teasing a mysterious new foe for next season. And while Batwoman has yet to be officially renewed for a fourth season, a new Ryan Wilder Batwoman Funko Pop! figure has been unveiled today, and is available now for purchase as a Funko Shop exclusive.

This isn’t the first time Ryan Wilder has made the jump from television into other media. In Batgirl #50, the final issue of the series, written by Cecil Castellucci, illustrated by Emanuela LupacchinoWade Von GrawbadgerMick GrayScott Hanna, & Jordie Bellaire, Ryan Wilder was introduced into the DC Comics Prime Universe as an acquaintance of Barbara Gordon. Aside from a brief appearance in Batman: Urban Legends #15 last summer, Wilder’s role in the DC Universe has been somewhat limited.

However, the recently announced Earth-Prime miniseries will feature Ryan Wilder as Batwoman in new in-continuity stories set in the world of the Arrowverse.

The new Funko Pop! represents just the third time that any iteration of Batwoman has been represented in the now-iconic big head/little body vinyl format. A DC Bombshells version of the character was released as a Pop! in 2017, while the comics version of Kate Kane Batwoman received her own Funko Pop! figure as a Previews Exclusive in 2019.

The new Ryan Wilder Batwoman Funko Pop! is available to order now.
