People often ask me “Why don’t you do a podcast?”

I answer, “I do.”

In this week’s More To Come, myself, Calvin Reid and Kate Fitzsimons go over time to discuss Havok and the M-Words, the new Madefire/Deviant Art team up, and go live from MoCCA floor with interviews with steering committee members Karen Green and Tucker Stone, and First Second’s Mark Siegel, creators James Romberger and Marguerite van Cook and get the latest on Borb from Jason Little. In it’ two parts because the awesomeness was just too immense for one part.

Part 1

Part 2

  1. Thanks for the heads-up, Heidi. I’ve been catching up with the podcasts. Especially liked the two-parter for Jack Kirby’s 95th birthday, with its even-handed treatment of the disputes between Kirby and Stan Lee. I’m so tired of hearing Stan depicted as evil incarnate.

I stopped hanging out at one comics site that was overrun by people obsessed with hatred of Stan Lee, and posting claims that Kirby created everything at Marvel all by himself, while Lee did nothing. Your podcast’s calm and fair assessment was appreciated (by me).
