PlayStation Experience will go back-to-back with Anaheim for 2017.

The most relaxed and fan friendly gaming show for PlayStation fans will be back for the second year in a row to the Anaheim Convention Center in 2017. On December 9-10, 2017, thousands of attendees will once again enjoy 2 days of PlayStation VR demos, game developer panels, rare merchandise and collectibles. This year, Sony will add a special event for those who buy tickets early an invitation to a special event held on the evening of Friday, December 8th, the night before the event formally kicks off. During the special event, you’ll have a chance to get up-close and personal with game developers and PlayStation personalities.

As is standard for PSX, tournament gaming will once again be prominent through the Capcom Cup.

Capcom Cup 2017 is joining forces with PlayStation Experience again this year! At PS Experience, a special tournament stage will be dedicated to the highest-level Street Fighter V competition in the world, with matches taking place all day on Sunday, culminating in the Grand Finals event on Sunday evening. Watch the top qualifying players from the 2017 Capcom Pro Tour battle their way for more than $250,000 in prizing and the chance to be crowned the 2017 Street Fighter V World Champion. If you’ve never been to a video game show such as PAX then PlayStation Experience is the best indoctrination for the gaming curious. While it’s certainly centric to PlayStation, the brand’s many partners bring the variety while the fans pack the building with an energy you can’t feel anywhere else, even SDCC. 2017 will mark PlayStation Experience’s 4th show since its inception in 2014. The show launched in Las Vegas that year then moved to PlayStation’s headquarters in San Francisco the following year to a larger audience in 2015. For its third year, PSX made the move to Anaheim California and boomed to a massive audience growth. Holding events like these right before Holidays make sense for the west coast, but PlayStation could see Anaheim’s success the previous year as the base they’re looking for to grow into the coveted 100k attendance figure.
