One Piece is going strong and experiencing its biggest surge in popularity with each new episode of the TV anime and each new chapter of the blockbuster manga following Eiichiro Oda‘s break in the wake of fellow legend Akira Toriyama‘s passing in April. It was just a matter of time before the marketing blitz for the franchise would land in the US, in an appropriately big way.

Toei Animation, the studio behind the TV anime has announced that as a part of the ongoing 25th anniversary festivities for the adaptation, the TV anime will be featured on the Las Vegas Sphere in a special event for the week of June 10 to the 16th. This also follows the recent opening of the first official US One Piece tie-in cafe located nearby on the Las Vegas Strip at the beginning of May.

The special feature on the Sphere is also tied into the forthcoming launch of a dedicated and US-accessible official English-language One Piece YouTube channel that will also launch in June.

Crunchyroll, who simulcasts the One Piece TV anime describes it
