Penny-Farthing Press (PFP) returns for their third visit to New York Comic Con (Booth #1513) with the debut of their new graphic novel, Anne Steelyard and the Garden of Emptiness: An Honorary Man. This exciting new graphic novel chronicles the life of Anne Steelyard, a young British woman who is searching for her independence in the mysterious deserts of Mesopotamia while the world is on the brink of World War I. Anne Steelyard is written by bestselling author Barbara Hambly (Patriot Hearts, the Benjamin January mysteries, The Emancipator’s Wife) and the exquisite cover art is by legendary artist Glen Orbik. PFP will also debut a preview of their upcoming 4-issue comic book series, Shadrach Stone, written by Stuart Moore (PARA, Firestorm, Stargate Atlantis). This provocative and insightful series follows the life of Manhattan literary agent Shadrach Stone. Shadrach has a penchant for lying but soon finds out that his lies have much more of an impact than he thought. An impact that could change the course of history. Throughout the weekend, PFP will have several signings. Starting on Friday, February 6th, Stuart Moore will sign from 2 – 3 pm and Barbara Hambly will sign from 3 – 4 pm. On Saturday, February 7th, Barbara Hambly will sign from 12 – 1 pm and Stuart Moore will sign from 2 – 3 pm. Stephen Vrattos, creator and writer of the original Captain Gravity series and Joshua Dysart, writer of Captain Gravity and the Power of the Vril, will sign on Saturday, February 7th from 3 – 4 pm.

All Con attendees will be able to stock up on Penny-Farthing Press merchandise at reduced prices. With every $20 purchase, PFP will give away a free pair of Decoy “Alien” glasses or Victorian goggles which will go great with any Steampunk outfit. Throughout the day, PFP will also be spinning their Wheel of Prizes and will be giving away loads of free Penny-Farthing Press prizes.
