Brian Michael Bendis (Daredevil), David Marquez (The Joyners in 3D) and Justin Ponsor (Ultimate Spider-Man) who all happen to make up the Miles Morales: The Ultimate Spider-Man team are reuniting for Civil War II.
“A mysterious new Marvel character comes to the attention of the world, one who has the power to calculate the outcome of future events with a high degree of accuracy,” according to the synopsis. “This predictive power divides the Marvel heroes on how best to capitalize on this aggregated information, with Captain Marvel leading the charge to profile future crimes and attacks before they occur, and Iron Man adopting the position that the punishment cannot come before the crime.”
Who else is getting a Minority Report flashback? Also, does this information tease that the main conflict of the story will be between Captain Marvel and Iron Man? Take a look at some of the teams that have assembled on both sides of the conflict, it looks like (Sam Wilson) Captain America is on Tony Stark’s team now? Spider-Man is notably on the opposing side of Stark as well this time. Civil War II debuts in May, the same month as the big screen affair; Captain America: Civil War which opens May 6. Will Tony Stark at least try to get along with his peers following this story?
