While Persepolis remains one of the most important comics of the graphic novel era, creator Marjane Satrapi seems to have moved on to different avenues for her talents, likebooks
21 of her paintings will go on display at the Galerie Jérôme de Noirmont next week.
While Satrapi originally set out to be a painter before hooking up with the L’Association gang inspired her to be a cartoonist, this show is more of a tie-in to the release of her latest movie, The Gang of the Jotas, described as a live-action crime comedy. It opens February 6th in France.
